DescriptionHi YK,

Google update the SmokeTest last Friday (Version 2022.Q1.3)
They add the following item, please check the attachment

The issue is as below,
Using the Google Assistant button on the RCU, verify that the following device control commands function correctly.
Note that for non panel TV devices, you may need to enable CEC function in settings before running this test.

1. Turn Off TV

Test result: Only STB off, TV is still on
Expected result: I think both STB and TV should be turned off, because Google emphasize the CEC function in this test item.

As you know, even we enabled the CEC function, we can not use "B tv 전원" button on the RCU to turn off TV.
I have checked it with Jerry. He said that Middle ware block this cec event. (power off tv CEC event from STB to TV)

This test will not be tested in MR build. (Not marked as "YES" in the "Lite test?" field)
I think SPTEK still need to fix it in the future.

Could you please check it?

I have one question.
The patch below is already applied to Smart3.
        vendor/amlogic/btv-hal-impl/bfx-at100 changed from a2077f1bd822161c9e61525e9b51cca89b8ad3c0 to BTF_API_LEVEL_5/s905x2
                [+] Wed Feb 16 18:16:46 2022 +0800 | liang-chyi.lin@fii.. | e1c1f2f | [BTVD-19446] fixed: Unable to turn off TV through NUGU voice when CEC is on.

In the latest version, the TV does not turn off when using the STB power button. but you can turn off the TV only with voice commands.
I think there will be no problem if I use the FW with this patch.

Please let me know your opinion.

Hi YK,
The patch you mentioned is the behavior of NUGU voice.
This is different from Google assistant.
NUGU voice call HAL API to send CEC message to turn off TV.
But Google assistant call Android framework to turn off TV.

Middle ware block this cec event in Android Framework. (power off tv CEC event from STB to TV)
So I think SPTEK still need to fix it in the future.
